Overview:
The Shenzhen–Zhongshan Link is a
bridge–tunnel which connects two major cities on the Peal River Delta (PRD) in China: the city of Shenzhen on
the eastern side of the PRD, and the city of Zhongshan on
the western side. It consists of a series of bridges and tunnels
(Shenzhen–Zhongshan Tunnel, Shenzhen–Zhongshan Bridge and Zhongshan Bridge),
starting from Bao'an International Airport on
the Shenzhen side. The proposed 49.7 km eight-lane link was completed in 2024.

Construction Time: 2017 – 2024 June, 7 Years Client: Taper Sleeve Locking Rebar Couplers were
specified by GHD Asia Pacific Office
Package: There were approximately 300,000 taper sleeve locking rebar couplers supplied to the project. The couplers were
primarily used for rebar sizes of 32mm, 36mm, and 40mm in tunnel
reinforcement, cross-sea bridge pylons, and connections for other concrete
formworks. We’re proud to have contributed to the success of this project,
completed right on schedule.
